In each class, we’re working in a set format for your assignments (your template). You will start assignments off with a cover page, proceed to the assignment itself, then include the process work— all in the template format... all saved as a PDF
Before we forget: Please name your files following this convention (presently, different classes have different conventions, so let's align them for my classes, at least):
- ModuleAssignment_FirstName_Nickname_LastName.pdf
- M1_YuTing_Mika_Huang.pdf
- M2.1_Johnathan_John_Smith.pdf
- M2.2_Johnathan_John_Smith.pdf
- M2_Samantha_Sam_Garcia.pdf
- M4_Roshni_Vasudevan.pdf
Why like this?
- M = module: This works well onsite and online. Summer is 2X per week, so M works better.
- The LMS does not "see" hyphens (dashes) or parenthesis... it deletes them. Underscores and periods seem to be OK.
- We call you by your first name, so let's start with that one, not your last name.
- We need to know your nickname, too (Make sure to include that in the LMS as well.)
- Note some assignments are multi-part: M1.1 ... M1.2 ... etc.
- ... When you have 20 (or 120, like me) files to look at per week, being able to visually skim them is important... and we need to see the most crucial information first.
[Which file is Amy's (hard to tell, right?) ... which is Amanda's (easy, right?)... and that guy who calls himself "Maverick"!?]
